2020 Marisa Cuomo ‘Furore Rosso’, Campania

Since 1980 Marisa Cuomo has stood out as one of the most prominent producers of the Amalfi Coast. Her unique methods, as well as unique vine placement has gained her a mass following. Each vine is embedded in cliff rock, vertically overlooking the Furore Sea.

Second generation winemaker from the famous Barolo region in Piemonte, Alessandra oversees Bovio’s operation with the help of her daughter, Elisa.

2022 - Noelia Ricci, Emilia Romagna
Sangiovese  10/19

Noelia Ricci’s revival of her father’s vision in the 1980’s helped reinvigorate and reimagine the families property. She opened an estate winery as well as a surplus of new plantings. Since then, the responsibilities have been passed on to the next generation, but her footprint, name and legacy continues.
